West Europe ad spend to grow 3.5% to EUR 100 bln in 2015, outdoor to grow 2.2% (telecompaper)

Ad spend in Western Europe is expected to grow 3.5 percent year-on-year this year to EUR 99.9 billion, driven by internet and mobile, and markedly lower than the global figure at 5.0 percent, data from Strategy Analytics (SA) revealed. Baton Rouge-based Lamar Advertising’s profits skyrocket in fourth quarter (theadvocate)

Lamar Advertising Co., a Baton Rouge-based outdoor advertising giant, reported its fourth-quarter profit rocketed to $207.9 million, or $2.18 per share, roughly 20 times the $10.1 million, or 11 cents per share, reported a year ago.
