Complacency is comfort in who we are, where we are, and what we know. Comfort in itself is not bad but at its worst it manifests itself as intellectual laziness that impedes our progress and growth. Just saying…My personal moto is that I am not impressed with what I know but I am impressed what I don’t know and in my case I can’t wait to share what I have learned. The DSE flies in the face of complacency. It is designed as a place to learn and grow your knowledge and feed the spark of creativity that hopefully resides inside.
A wise man once told me to “Listen to the right voices and you will make the right choices”. Many of those “right voices” are at the DSE. For ease of review, I have provided a quick glance at the topics being presented at the DSE. Each one is presented by an expert who has “been there and done that”. The best reasons to break the bonds of complacency in digital signage and to attend the DSE reside in this list.
