We sat down with Veridooh co-founder Mo Moubayed.

What does Veridooh do? 

Veridooh is a provider of independent verification and campaign automation products for OOH media. Our flagship proprietary and patented technology, SmartCreative, independently tracks, verifies and reports on campaign delivery data across 400+ key metrics.

Clients are able to independently verify all OOH media buys (Static, Digital and Programmatic), with insights and analytics accessible via Veridooh’s intuitive and easy to use all-in-one platform.

 What makes Veridooh different, what is your unique selling proposition?

 Unlike other verification providers that use CMS logs or spreadsheet data from media owners, Veridooh’s data is sourced independently and directly from the ad panel when the creative gets displayed. We call this true transparency – objective, independent and unbiased data presented in a straightforward, built-for-purpose analytics platform.

 What are the benefits to the brands, retailers, media owners, consumers?

 Veridooh is making OOH a better channel to invest in. We’ve built a single ecosystem for all OOH stakeholders to increase transparency, eliminate waste and drive media efficiency – from independent verification and actionable intelligence tools, through to our campaign automation and creative trafficking product, Collaborate.

Veridooh’s independent verification empowers brands to invest in OOH with confidence. Our all-in-one platform enables Media Agencies and advertisers to identify and correct delivery issues instantly in real time, track bonus and makegood and ensure creative is delivered as per instructions. Essentially, it helps brands make sure that their ads are served to the right place, at the right time, to the right audiences.

And when advertisers see value in OOH, the whole industry benefits from increased momentum and growth in the channel. For media owners, the Veridooh verification platform creates a level playing field – not only do they have access to the same independently verified data as all OOH stakeholders, but it gives them support to demonstrate the value their inventory is delivering.

Our Campaign Automation tool, Collaborate, is used by advertisers and agencies to decrease time wasted and prevent errors when launching and managing OOH campaigns. Its automated processes ensure campaigns are live on time with full oversight and control, simultaneously standardising and simplifying the campaign management process.

How far along is the company, do you have success stories? 

After launching in 2019, Veridooh leapt headlong into the challenge of building an OOH adtech company in the middle of a global stay-at-home order.

Today, Veridooh is the preferred verification partner for GroupM, OMG and IPG. We work with over 160 advertisers globally, including Unilever, Uber, Apple, McDonalds, Amazon and Molson Coors.

Along the way, we have picked up a number of international awards. We’ve won Campaign Asia’s Most Valuable Product twice (2021, 2023),  B&T’s Marketing Technology Company of the Year twice (2021, 2023). We’ve been shortlisted for the AFR’s most innovative company three years in a row (2022-2024). And our Co-Founders Mo Moubayed and Jeremy Yang have been recognized as emerging leaders in this space, from winning Young Australian Entrepreneur of the Year, Campaign’s 40 under 40 to Performance Marketing World’s Power 100 list.

What are brands seeing in terms of success, data, analytics?

Increased trust and confidence is helping to drive increased investment into OOH, providing the digital-first reporting standards that modern marketers demand.

In Australia, where independent verification has achieved mass market adoption, 75% of Veridooh’s top clients have increased their ad spend since adopting independent verification.

In a recent survey, 100% of our agency partners agreed that they have more confidence in OOH as a result of independent verification, and that independent verification is now essential for OOH. This has coincided with the rapid growth of OOH’s share of ad spend from 5% to more than 10% – making Australia a global leader among similarly mature OOH markets.

 In what countries do you currently work? Are you expanding into other markets?

 Veridooh is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with offices in London and New York. In terms of future expansion, we’re always interested in markets that are interested in us. We’re continuing to see amazing growth and demand coming out of APAC, with Europe and North America now emerging as fantastic new growth markets for Veridooh.
