16:9: Pro AV Revenues Forecast To Drop $7B In Americas In 2020; But Bounce Back In 2021-22

AVIXA, aka the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, is forecasting a $7 billion hit to pro AV revenues in the Americas in 2020, dropping 8% from 2019. 16:9: New Research Suggests Average AV Tech In US Earns Far More Than Those In Other High GDP Nations

New AVIXA research, based on a large survey, suggests full-time pro AV techs make an average of $65,000 in the US, well above the pay for equivalent work in similar countries.  The research, based on feedback from almost 4,000 AV people across 77 countries, also suggests that while the pandemic has been a big kick in the nether regions for the industry as a whole, that has not forced down salaries. […]
