Kimberly Brecko, the CEO of EcoDigital Media, and Rob Meiner, Technical Sales Engineer with Peerless-AV, talk about the future of digital menu boards and how the hardware can link with software to help a business meet its objectives. There is a certain satisfaction to being a regular at a place of business. […]
Kimberly Brecko, the CEO of EcoDigital Media, and Rob Meiner, Technical Sales Engineer with Peerless-AV, explain how businesses can boost ROI with a savvy approach to the content on menus or other screens. Most of the companies I sit down with on these podcasts are well-established, and my interview subjects have a lot if history behind them. But I got pitched by a French start-up called CityMeo, and I agreed to meet up for a chat several weeks ago at ISE in Amsterdam, even though I knew zero about them. […]
The mothership 16:9 podcast is less than a year old but my back-end stats are telling me the 46 episodes to date have been downloaded about 100,000 times in total. When I started, I had no idea what the response might be, but it wasn’t that kind of number. […]
The Sixteen:Nine Podcast has been running long enough now to have 39 episodes and a pretty healthy number of downloads – something like 83,000. Clearly, there’s an audience. So there is now a companion podcast, which is being hosted by a longtime industry friend, Michael Tutton. […]

David and I sat down for a chat last week in the Four Winds’ offices, a day before his company’s second annual Forward conference, which attracts a lot of hardcore customers and prospects. […]
Just had a look at the stats and the 16:9 Podcasts series is now past 21,000 downloads. The host site shows far less than that in its count, but way more people pick up the RSS feed via iTunes, Google Play and podcast apps like PocketCast. Counting total downloads is a bit inexact, but 21K seems to the number after the series went live in early May. […]
Stephen Randall is the EVP Social and Mobile at the out of home media firm Monster Media. Randall was doing mobile operating systems before they were ever called smart, as a co-founder of Symbian. He then started LocaModa, which was doing visualizations of user-generated content as far back as 2005, before social media was even a thing. […]
Bryan Fairfield is the CEO of Nanonation, which delivers digital signage and interactive for a fascinating range of clients – from Louis Vuitton to Harley Davidson to Raising Nebraska, a hands-on learning center celebrating and explaining farm life. […]
Sixteen:Nine now has a podcast – a series of 25-35 minute interviews with people who are running interesting companies, doing intriguing things, or have something valuable to say about digital signage. The plan is to release a new episode every week, but we’ll see what kind of rhythm gets established (and, of course, whether anyone is actually listening). […]
