Sunday, September 10, 2023

The World Out of Home Organization has signed up its 200th member, and first company from Kazakhstan, with the enrolment of Citix, a major OOH service provider/supplier.

Citix is a technology developer at the intersection of Smart Cities and AdTech, creating smartboards – smart street gadgets that provide useful information at the right place in the right time with intuitive interface.

The Citix product line consists of four OOH advertising media, covering traffic, pedestrians, roadside and taxis.

WOO now has a spread of members from over 100 countries, covering media owners, media agencies, national associations and OOH service providers/suppliers. In this year alone it has added well over 40 new members.

Citix CEO Yana Shoibekova says: “We believe that joining the World Out Of Home Organization will bring new opportunities, better creativity and more new insight, and collectively will drive the growth of out-of-home advertising on a global scale, through the synergy of industry leaders, professionals and experts.”

WOO Chief Operating Officer Mark Flys says: “We are delighted to welcome our first member from this important and fast developing market in Asia.

“With an increasing focus on driving growth in OOH as quickly as possible, WOO is helping its members meet the challenges arising from an ever more complex and fast-moving media landscape, and this is drawing in a stream of organizations from across the world, in particular from developing markets.”
