There are 6700 digital billboards in the US, up 5% from Jan 2016 (OAAA)

OAAA conducts a survey twice a year to determine the number of digital billboards nationwide. According to OAAA’s survey of billboard operators and manufacturers, in July 2016, there were 6,700 digital billboards, a 5 percent increase from 6,400 in Jan 2016.
